Zum „Internationalen Frauentag“ am 8. März zeigte sich die Arbeitsgemeinschaft sozialdemokratischer Frauen (AsF) des SPD-Stadtverbandes Homburg erneut mit starker Präsenz.
Sie organisierte eine Rosenverteilaktion unter dem Motto:
„Es gibt nur eine Richtung #vorwärts! Frauen“
auf dem Christian-Weber-Platz in Homburg von 10 Uhr bis 12h30.
Mit der Abschaffung des §219 sendet die gesamte AsF bundesweit ein starkes Signal für die Frauenpolitik.
Der überfraktionelle Kampf gegen Gewalt an Frauen sowie das fortwährende Engagement für Gleichstellung und Parität beschreiben wichtige Themen der
AsF in Homburg.
Unterstützt wurde sie an diesem Vormittag u.a. von Pascal Conigliaro, Sevim Kaya-Karadag sowie Susanne Kasztantowicz (KandidatInnen des Saarpfalzkreises für die anstehenden Landtagswahlen).
Das Cafe-Mobil ergänzte mit seinem sympatischen Team diese wichtige Aktion und bereitete leckerste Kaffeespezialitäten für alle BesucherInnen.
